Nantucket Basket Door Knocker

These sturdy, beautifully crafted baskets were often made aboard the Nantucket Shoals Lightship and became popular with the island's tourist trade.

This doorknocker is sand-cast in yellow brass and is a faithful depiction of the classic Nantucket basket.
It is designed, cast, finished and signed by Colby Smith. It is lacquered to retain the finish.
